Bead Weaving Classes with Tremain Fenton

Classes offered at Salt Lake City Gem Faires.

Classes will be taught on a first come, first serve basis.  Limit of 4 students at a time.

Class schedule:

Magatama Spiral: Learn to use a Kumihimo Disc to create a beautiful braid that spirals around your wrist. Once you learn this technique, the possibilities are endless.

Tuition $25 plus materials; Materials Kit available for $30.50
Disc, Bobbins & Weight Kit available for $26.00.


Barrel Weave Chain Maille: Here is your chance to learn a fabulous chain maille pattern that is fun, versatile, and easy to make. Make it plain or embellish it for a bracelet with movement.

Tuition is $20 plus materials; Materials Kit available for $16.75


Jangle Bracelet: Make this whimsical bracelet by wire wrapping beads & linking charms together! This is a very nice project for perfecting your wrapped loops.

Kits are available in various colors, with prices range from $45 – $82


Half Tila Bracelet & Earring Set: Learn to make this favorite pattern by Diane Fitzgerald. Use Half Tilas to create this Art Deco inspired design.

Tuition is $20 plus materials; Kits are $27.25 for the set, includes all sterling silver findings

Disco-Bracelet: Learn a quick & easy method of peyote, then embellish with the new O Beads from Miyuki. Add a pressed glass button for the closure.

She began by designing jewelry and selling her creations at art galleries in Park City. She went on to sell at Cedar City Arts Festival, Swiss Days, Dickens Festival and many other events. She opened her store, Heart Beads Jewelry in August 2004, where she designs jewelry, teaches classes and sells a wide variety of beads and other jewelry making supplies.
